To get a better and more understanding of cryptocurrencies, the most basic step is to categorize digital currencies into two separate parts: coin and token. in fact Coins are any form of digital currency that has an independent and direct blockchain - such as bitcoin.

These digital coins will be bootstraped from the beginning, and the wider network is clearly designed to achieve a specific goal. For example, Bitcoin, as a store of value-added reform and trading tools, has a consistent, highly credible monetary policy. The native bitcoin token, BTC (ie Bitcoin), is the most valuable currency code that has ever existed in the digital markets and has the main and real value in the market in the field of digital currencies.

Quinn-related projects typically learn from old technologies or other digital currencies and combine them into an innovative network with a specific purpose.

Another example of digital currencies, the Ether, the Atrium (ETH), is the native coin, a form of smart contract for creating all-purpose automated computer programs that run on a decentralized Chinese blockchain application. Instead of focusing on financial data, Atrium focuses on custom application data that can cover everything from games to social media. Ether can be used to send / receive, manage assets, pay installments and gas taxes, and interact with decentralized applications (dApps) on the network.

Tokens are unique costs that appear in the form of broader smart contract platforms such as Atrium to enable people who use them to form, send and manage tokens that are derivatives of primitive blockchain.

For example, ICO or Initial Coin Offering enthusiasm was boosted in 2017 by the Atrium ERC-20 token standard, which is essentially a protocol for generating tokens (in addition to ETH) in the Atrium blockchain so they can be traded together. Projects and operations utilize or build a plan on Atrium using smart contracts, and issue a native token to use in that program, in which process funds are raised directly from investors in the ETH.
